Introduction

Welcome to 21 days chanting session. This session is for your benefit. Just a little preparation from your side will maximize the benefit of this session. Can we make sure:
1. we are in a quiet place. We are sitting very comfortably with a stable body.
2. we are going to keep our mind 100% with chanting for the purification.

Alright! The chanting theme for today is Sukha and Dukha (Pleasure and Misery). Happiness and Misery are the two sides of the same coin called life. Every moment of our life is either in Pleasure or in Misery. Fulfillment of something towards which we are attached, gives us pleasure, happiness. On the other side, the loss of something we want, cause Misery. The quest of finding happiness makes us anxious to run from one subject to another and we waste our precious life in this ignorance that happiness lies in external worldly subjects. A spiritual person knows that it’s not the worldly subjects but our raga (attachment) and dwesha (dislike), which is the reason for the Pleasure and Misery. Once we realize how rare the opportunity of human life is and How we can utilize this opportunity to get the ultimate source of happiness, we will stop wasting our time on these worldly subjects. Are we conscious of each passing moment? Are we using it for the spirit that we are? We cannot trade the precious human breath anymore for the illusionary happiness when It has the potential to get the eternal bliss. Let us ponder what is the prime purpose of human life. Are we investing our time in the most precious goal of life? The swarved chanting today is intended to raise our consciousness towards the Pleasure and Misery in precious human life.

Among the causes of sorrow in life are “the Ignorance”, “the sinful deeds”, &”the cravings”, “the ego” and “the distance from Sadguru”. Whereas some of the causes of happiness are “the wisdom”, “the pious deeds”, “the righteousness”, “the sacrifice”, “the detachment”, and primarily the happiness is found in “seva”, “sadhna” ,” satsang”. and cravings for subjects. Attachment to the subjects brings sorrow and the love for almighty brings peace. Chasing Mind brings sorrow whereas happiness blossoms through the adherence to Sadguru’s teachings. The ego only isolates us from the bliss but seva reduces our distance from happiness. The reason for sorrow is not knowing the prime purpose of human life. The more we stay away from the divine goal of human life, the more get caught in the riddle of the illusionary life. The prime goal of human life is to attain union with the almighty. The sooner we realize this, the happier we become.

Concluding Message

These 21 days of chanting therapy is dedicated to the birth anniversary celebration of his holiness Sant Pravar Sri Vigyandeo ji Maharaj- The divine message for today is –Devotion is not a subject of a mind. It is a common misconception in society today, that devotion happens through our minds. Several spiritual leaders even encourage people to devote their minds to worship of God. Here in this message, however, Sant Pravar Shri Vigyan Dev Ji Maharaj is explaining that the mind does not have the ability to reach that supreme soul , and therefore, devotion is a subject of Soul and not Mind. We should first reach a self- realization before the true devotion to happen.
